The Bando Tour to Holland & Bastogne

Mark Bando
Mark Bando

We are excited to announce that we have expanded the Bando Normandy Tour to the battlegrounds of Holland and Bastogne!

This year's trip departs September 14th and returns September 23rd. We will be in Holland for the 65th Anniversary celebration of Operation Market-Garden and plan on seeing a live demonstration jump from a WWII C-47 aircraft!

As always with our fabulous tours, you will be guided to the battlefield locations and told the stories of the men who fought there by the unequalled 101st Airborne historian Mark Bando. We will also have local guide/historians along who will add their knowledge of what took place locally.

This tour will again be focused more on the 101st Airborne Division with visits to some of the more historically famous spots that the 82nd fought at as well. As with all our Bando Tours we have kept the price a bargain and affordable. Your tour is all inclusive and all you will need to pay for is what you buy in souvenirs and extra snacks and drinks. All our Bando Tours are kept small, usually around 16-20 people. We do this so that you will be able to spend more time at the locations and we can deliver more knowledge of the battle to our customers.

These tours typically fill up fast, so get your reservation in soon! We hope to see you on this year's tour of the Market/Garden-Battle of the Bulge areas.

Author and historian Mark Bando has been researching WWII and the 101st Airborne for over 30 years and has written 5 books on the subject. His most recent, the acclaimed " 101st Airborne: The Screaming Eagles in World War II ", is considered by some to be the definitive reference on the 101st. Having interviewed over 1,000 Airborne veterans, he has been accepted by them as an expert with whom they've shared their most intimate stories of friendship, combat, sorrow, and triumph. Mark's depth of knowledge in the 101st Airborne is staggering, and he'll share the tales with you, direct from the mouths of veterans, that only a select FEW know. He'll show you priceless artifacts from his vast personal collection, and he'll take you to places that no one knows exist.
