What will we see?
Below is a typical itinerary. We work with teachers to ensure that we cover locations relevant to their current curriculum. We try to organize tours during spring or summer break times for your convenience and are flexible in our scheduling.
Day 1
Depart the U.S. for London, England
We will make a stop at the electrifying Piccadilly Circus at night.

Day 2
We'll visit St. Paul's Cathedral and Shakespears' Globe Theatre. We'll see the famed Tower of London, rumored to be haunted, see the Crown Jewels and marvel at the gruesome stories of this location. A stop at the Imperial War Museum is in order. We will take a WW1 trench tour, go through the London Blitz, and see the Holocaust memorial.
Day 3
London City Walk
We'll tour Westminster Abbey, where the Kings and Queens of England have been crowned for hundreds of years. We'll see Poet's corner and the Coronation Chair. The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are right across the street. We'll ride The London Eye, one of the world's largest enclosed Ferris Wheels. This will afford you an opportunity to take some terrific pictures of the City of London. We'll visit Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column, as well as 10 Downing Street, where the Prime Minister resides. Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard should not be missed.

Day 4
Museum Day
We make stops at several of the important London museums. The first being the extensive collections of the British Museum to see the Egyptian displays and the Rosetta Stone. The Natural History Museum houses one of the world's foremost collections of Flora and Fauna. We will allow time for our participants to shop for souvenirs later in the day.
In the early evening we depart for Normandy via Eurostar train crossing under the English Channel!
Day 5
We meet up with top Normandy tour guide Paul Woodadge of Battlebus Tours, for private guided tours of Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, the Normandy American Cemetery and La Cambe German Cemetery. While at these locations Paul will provide the group with in depth information and incredible stories of what happened at these famous locations. Paul is an amazing storyteller who's sure to captivate your students.
Day 6

Paul Woodadge will escort us to see the famous village of Sainte-Mère-Église and the other 82nd Airborne battlefield areas of La Fière Manor, the Merderet Causeway, Timme's Orchard and Chef du Pont. We'll also see the location where German General Falley was ambushed by Lt. Malcolm Brannen and his men from the 508th PIR. We'll also visit Amfreville, the General Don Pratt Memorial and finally finish the day tracing Lt. Turner Turnbull's amazing D-Day journey.
Day 7
Author and historian Mark Bando will join us for the remainder of the tour to share his unsurpassed knowledge on the 101st Airborne's role in the invasion of Normandy. We will start up near the top portion of the Airborne battlefield and visit Crisbecq and St. Marcouf. We then take the same route that 101st Airborne veteran Don Burgett took from the location where he landed, just outside of Ravenoville and down through Marmion Farm. Other stops are, Dead Man's Corner, Saint-Côme-du-Mont, Hiesville, Château de Colombières, La Croix and Hell's Corners.

Day 8
We gain special access to the field at Brecourt Manor, made famous by the HBO Miniseries "Band of Brothers". We will discuss what Dick Winters and the men of Easy Company did here to take the four German 105mm guns. We'll go into Sainte-Marie-du-Mont and visit the famous town pump and see some of the other locations that you might recognize from wartime photo's. Other stops include Utah Beach, The Holdy Gun Battery position, Doc Lage's aid station, Angoville-au-Plain, Gillis' Corner, Saint-Martin-de-Varreville, and the XYZ Complex.
Day 9
On this day you will make the trek down the road of the Carentan Causeway, known as "Purple Heart Lane" and get the details of the battle for the four bridges. This will lead us to the location where Col. Robert Cole lead men of the 502nd PIR on the famous bayonet charge at "The Cabbage Patch", where he earned the Medal of Honor. From there we will visit locations around the main town of Carentan. Here you will get the story of how the Division took this key town and defended it against vicious counterattacks by the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division. There are MANY locations that we'll visit on this day that will leave your students with a greater understanding of what common men endured, and what uncommon things they accomplished.

Day 10
We'll travel to the outer areas and see the ruins of St. Georges de Bohan Church, Graignes, and Les Sablons Farm with Carl Beck's Barn. We'll use the rest of this day to see other sites of interest to the group.
Day 11
Depart for the U.S. from either London or Paris.
